COTTON PAN is a brand that started in September 2018. Hikari Watanabe is the designer of this brand. She is a graduate of the University of Art Design in Tokyo. She was approached by her friend when she was exhibiting her paintings. That was the trigger. The concept of this brand is "art to wear and enjoy. She was selling herself, not store. Hikari Watanabe and her friend never forget their favorite movies and music and they will sell what they don't want to forget through her design as clothes that should kept for the future.
The charming illustrations drawn by the designer herself project the culture that should be left behind. Combined with the silk screen printing method, it stimulates all five senses. American body T-shirts and hoodies have the CDs and records they actually listened to, as well as the cover design. All the prints are silk screen, multi-colored and toned, and because it's almost analog work, the facial expressions are different one by one.
